In the final round of the Sime Darby LPGA tournament in Kuala Lumpur, Feng Shanshan went into the last 18 holes with a two-shot lead. The Chinese was looking to wrap up the weekend with her second victory at this event in the last three years.

Pernilla Lindberg not in contention because of a slow start and inconsistent play, but she had one nice highlight to remember: Her tee shot at 17 found the green, and the Swede had a hole-in-one. She finished tied for 33rd, and two-under-par.

Her compatriot Anna Nordqvist started the session alone in second, but a birdie putt on the fifth green stopped short of the cup. She settled for par, and ended up tied for third at minus-12.

Norwegian Suzann Pettersen’s attempt to tweet at the 10th hole is successful. That was the fourth of her six birdies in the round, and she finished second, at 14-under-par.

Feng was caught by Nordqvist by the time she reached the 14th green, but the Chinese regained sole possession of the lead with her fourth birdie of the day.

She soon wrapped up the win with a par putt at 18, beating Pettersen by three strokes to earn her fifth career title on the LPGA Tour. It is her second trophy this year, after also prevailing at the Ladies European Tour’s Buick Championship in May.

Feng finished the weekend 17-under-par. Pettersen claimed the second spot all to herself. Nordqvist shared third with Amy Yang of South Korea.
