Trade ministers from Japan, South Korea and China wrapped up their meetings in Tokyo over the weekend. The three countries agreed to boost trade in the region and help stabilize growth.

The ministers also promised to advance talks on China-South Korea-Japan free trade deals, and the Regional Cooperation and Economic Partnership. That's a free trade agreement in the Asia Pacific under studies.

The three countries also expressed interest in exploring the global markets together. They also pledged to carry out the agreements reached at the Hangzhou G20 summit, including countering protectionism and increasing trade.
