A new cold front has brought snow to many parts of Northern China. Zhangjiakou in Hebei Province has been covered in white. The city is some 200 kilometers northwest of Beijing.

The cold air resulted in an eight-degree temperature drop there. The lowest temperature is now below zero degrees Celsius.

Weather authorities have forecast a six-to-eight degree temperature drop in most parts of Hebei province in the next few days.
