MLB World Series: Chicago Cubs 3-2 Cleveland Indians

To Major League Baseball and Game Five of the World Series. The Chicago Cubs had their backs against the wall after falling into a 3-1 hole against the Cleveland Indians.

Kris Bryant was looking to lead the home team to a desperately needed win, after committing two errors that cost his squad in Game Four. The third baseman would help the hosts jump start their offense, while breaking out of a slump at the plate.

The fans at Wrigley Field hoping for a Chi-Town win to shift the series back to The Land.

Jon Lester facing Jose Ramirez in the top of the second inning. The Tribe third baseman easily clears the ivy covered wall in left for a solo home run, putting Cleveland in front 1-0.

Bryant trying to break a 1-for-15 skid as he awaits Trevor Bauer's pitch, which he deposits into the stands in left-center in the bottom of the fourth. His second homer of the  playoffs ties the score at 1, and helps put his defensive nightmare from Game Four in the rearview mirror.

Three batters later, Addison Russell grounds slowly to third and hustles down the line to beat the throw. Anthony Rizzo scores the go-ahead run as Chicago take a 2-1 lead on the infield single.

Bases loaded with one out for David Ross now, and the Cubs catcher lifts a fly ball to leftfield. That's gonna be deep enough to go for a sacrifice fly that brings in Ben Zobrist. The home team increasing their lead to 3-1.

Lester delivers to Francisco Lindor in the top of the sixth, and the Indians shortstop yanks the ball into center just out of Dexter Fowler's reach. Rajai Davis scores to cut it to 3-2. Lester having Game One flashbacks.

But the Tribe are soon down to their last chance. Aroldis Chapman striking out Ramirez to end the contest. Chicago winning 3-2 and forcing Game Six in Cleveland on Tuesday.
