China's State Councilor Yang Jiechi met with India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval in Hyderabad.

Yang and Doval are the special representatives of the China-India border talks. Yang said China is willing to maintain communication and dialogue at various levels, and properly handle sensitive issues with India.

Doval expressed India's willingness to maintain high-level exchanges of visits and strategic communication with China. Both agreed to better handle border disputes through dialogue.
