Premier Li has held bilateral talks with his counterparts from Albania, Slovenia and Macedonia. Premier Li said China is encouraging Chinese enterprises to invest and participate in infrastructure construction in their countries.

The three leaders have vowed to enhance economic ties and synergize their development strategies with China. The meetings were held on the sidelines of the fifth China and 16 Central and Eastern European Countries Summit, which will start later today.

The region marks an essential link in China's Belt and Road Initiative, the country's vision to enhance cooperation with countries across Asia, Europe and Africa.
