British Prime Minister Theresa May met with Chinese Vice Premier Ma Kai on Thursday in London.
The meeting came during the countries' eighth bilateral economic and financial dialogue. Both countries confirmed their Golden Era of bilateral ties.
May said Britain supports free trade and expects more Chinese investments into the country. Ma said China will keep building its comprehensive strategic partnership with the U.K. and hopes that Britain will recognize China's market economy status on time.
