'Red Notice' graft fugitive returns to China

One of China's top five fugitives has turned himself in after being on the run for fifteen years.

According to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, Yan Yongming hid in Australia and New Zealand after being charged with fraud and embezzlement.

Yan is the former chairman of pharmaceutical company Tonghua Golden-horse, which is based in the northeastern province of Jilin.

The graft fugitive has confessed to his crimes, as well as offering to return a hefty amount of embezzled money and pay a huge fine.
