U.S. index provider MSCI has made some changes to a number of its index funds. That's by adding 55 securities and removing 34 others from its World Index. MSCI said it also changed its emerging markets index and added 44 new securities and deleted three others from its China A index.

MSCI also announced a change to its frontier markets index but didn't say if A shares would be included. The changes are part of quarterly adjustments MSCI makes to its indexes, which it says are tracked by $9.5 trillion in assets. The index fund updates will be implemented at market close on November 30th.
