China cuts $28.1 bln worth of US bonds in Sept.

China slashed its U.S. debt stake by $28.1 billion in September, marking its fourth cut in a row since May this year. That left China's total amount of U.S. debt holdings at $1.16 trillion. But China is still the largest holder, with Japan coming in second place. Japan's holdings were $1.14 trillion in September.
