In boxing news, the man known as Money, Floyd Mayweather Jr. once again confirmed his retirement. The 39-year-old ended his career undefeated with a 49-0 record including 26 knockouts. And despite speculation that he may get back in the ring for a rematch with Manny Pacquiao, Pretty Boy Floyd says he's done and will now focus on his work as a promoter.

And towards that end, the 1996 Olympic bronze medalist hyped up a super middleweight bout between his fighter, WBC World Champion Badou Jack of Sweden and IBF World Champion James DeGale of the UK.

The fight on January 14th is the biggest event for Mayweather Promotions not featuring Mayweather himself, but nevertheless, the retired boxer had to field questions about getting back into the ring.

Mayweather refused to entertain a rematch with Manny Pacquiao while dismissing the possibility of a bout with UFC Featherweight and Lightweight champion, Connor McGregor.

He said, "I'm retired. I'm a promoter. I'm here to help these young fighters get to the next level. That's what it's about. Like I said before, I'm not here to talk about that. I'm not here to guarantee nothing. Nothing is promised, but I'm here, like I said before, I'm here to help fighters. It's all about making smart investments, not just in the ring, but outside the ring."
