Governments meeting at the United Nations climate talks have reaffirmed their commitment to the Paris accord.
Countries gathered for the COP22 talks in the Moroccan city of Marrakech issued a declaration on Thursday, calling for the highest political will to combat climate change. They also reaffirmed their promise to raise a hundred billion US dollars in aid to help poor countries deal with climate change.
The statement comes amid fears created by US president-elect Donald Trump's promise to withdraw his country from the deal.
