Full coverage: China Tiangong-2 Space Lab Launch

The two astronauts from the Tiangong-2 space lab and Shenzhou-11 manned mission returned to Beijing on Friday evening.

50-year old Jing Haipeng, and 38-year old Chen Dong were welcomed in Beijing. They will remain in the capital for medical quarantine, as well as a medical examination and health evaluation.

This comes after they spent 33 days in the Tiangong-2 space lab. Earlier on Friday, the two astronauts had a safe landing as their Shenzhou-11 capsule touched down in Inner Mongolia.
