In China, 67 people have been killed in a collapse at the construction site of a power station in eastern Jiangxi province. A cooling tower platform plunged to the ground on Thursday morning in Fengcheng county.

Two workers injured in the incident are being treated in hospital. Rescue work continues to locate one worker trapped under rubble. Seventy people were on site when the collapse occurred.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has said rescue work should be the top priority to minimize casualties.
