Jane Goodall is a British primatologist, ethologist, anthropologist, and UN Messenger of Peace. But she's probably most famous for being considered the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees. Goodall is best known for her 55-year study on the social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees in Tanzania's Gombe Stream National Park. And her environmental conservation program "Roots & Shoots" has been active in China for 30 years.
