Experts are praising China's policy paper on Latin America and the Caribbean region.

"The document shows that China and Latin America have entered a new phase of cooperation. The two sides are willing to deepen collaboration and this has been demonstrated by meetings of all levels, which brings huge potential in the ragion's economy, politics, culture and international relations. The paper has opened a new chapter in our relations," said Prof. Arnaldo Francisco Cardoso, Mackenzie Presbyterian University.

"Our bilateral ties cannot only be limited to economy and trade, but we should together boost globalization. We can cooperate in multiple areas, such as food sciences, biochemistry and high-tech. I hope that the academic exchanges can benefit from the close ties and friendship between China and Peru. Looking into the future, I'm quite optimistic," said Pablo Alejo, director of Tech. Peru National Library.

"For Latin America, a crucial point is its modernization. We hope through our cooperation with China, we could improve our infrastructure and transportation and boost our trade of agricultural produce," said Ana Castillo, former Peruvian vice minister of culture.
