We start off in England with football as the hottest team in the Premier League, Chelsea, were at home to the only unbeaten side of the bunch, Tottenham Hotspur. Ever since Antonio Conte moved to three defencemen, the Blues have been unstoppable and came in on a six game winnning streak that brought them to the top of the standings. Spurs record of 6 wins and 6 draws had them in fifth place, but a first win at Stamford Bridge in 26 years would see them into the final Champions League place.

And Tottenham find the net in just the fifth minute when Harry Kane taps in off a free kick, but it's quickly disallowed for offside. It's a great ball from Christian Eriksen, but Kane just a bit too eager.

But Spurs are really clicking and in the 11th minute, Eriksen lashes a brilliant shot into the top corner for the first league goal scored on Chelsea in about 600 minutes.A spectacular strike from the Dane leaving Thibaut Courtois no chance. 1-0 Spurs.

But Chelsea equalize just before the break. Pedro Rodriguez given too much space and he curls in a beauty. The Spaniard has been in brilliant form lately and his goal makes it 1-1 at half time.

The Blues are the better side in the second half and just six minutes after the break, Diego Costa lays it on a plate for Victor Moses.Great run from Costa and you've got to wonder where Tottenham's were.

Eriksen would have another chacne but is unable to convert and Chelsea go on to win 2-1, their seventh straight league victory which ends Spurs unbeaten run.

"This was a big test because, for sure Tottenham is a really good team, with a great organisation and I think today they started, better than us. They started very well with a great intensity, with a lot of pressure when we had the ball. And, also they scored a fantastic goal with a shot.... Then, I liked a lot our reaction. It wasn't easy because.... to react, in this way with Pedro, to find the draw with also a fantastic finish, and I think the goal, that Pedro scored gave us, the right confidence," said Antonio Conte, Chelsea manager.

Also on Saturday, Manchester City came from behind to beat Burnley 2-1 thanks to two goals from Sergio Aguero. Hull and West Brom drew as did defending champions Leicester and Middlesbrough. Liverpool's 2-0 win over Sunderland is tempered with a Phillipe Coutniho injury, and Swansea beat Crystal Palace in a nine goal thriller.

Chelsea remain on top of the table with 31 points after beating Spurs while Liverpool and City are just one behind. Arsenal are on fourth with 25 and will entertain Bournemouth on Sunday. Sixth placed Manchester United have 19 points but can pick up more against West Ham today.
