CBA: Xinjiang 112 - Liaoning 107

To basketball from the CBA, as the Xingjiang Flying Tigers hosted the Liaoning Flying Leopards. Li Gen and Xinjiang were looking to keep their perfect record at home intact, and grab their second win in a row. Liaoning, meanwhile, were trying to claim their third straight victory in Urumqi.

Liaoning point guard Guo Ailun is active early on in the first quarter. After a couple of crossovers the 23-year-old drives in gets two in the face of national teammate Zhou Qi.

Later in the Q, the Liaoning pass is intercepted by Li Gen, who races all the way for the throwdown. The hosts go on 21-5 run and take a 16-point lead after opening period.

Liaoning fight back in the second. Lester Hudson nails this triple beyond to cut the deficit to 13.

Center Han Dejun also nails the jumper and the gap is down to 7.

The hosts responds from the outside, as Darius Adams fires this long three. Flying Tigers up 18.

Then Li would beat the half-time buzzer with the long deuce, and Xinjiang have a 20-point lead at recess. Li with a team-high 25 points on the night.

Shavlik Randolph would hit a three to start the third -- as the the Flying Leopards try and trim the margin.

Late stages of the quarter, and Hudson uses the pick up top and cans the three, as Liaoning make it a two-point game. Hudson would have a game-high 32 points.

But all of Liaoning's efforts are in vain, as Adams delivers a key three in the dying seconds. 112-107 is the final, as Xinjiang improve to 5-and-oh at home this season.

Yi's 28 points lead Southern Tigers to sixth straight win

In other action, the Guangdong Southern Tigers would be at home against the Shandong Golden Stars. Donald Sloan finds Shao Yinglun for the jumper, and it is a 9-point lead for the hosts.

Shandong then suffer a big blow in the beginning of the second quarter, as Norris Cole pulls his hamstring. The American would be sidelined for the remainder of the game.

Later in the period, the Golden Stars' Yang Li is double-teamed by Guangdong, and loses possession. Jason Thompson tries to block the Southern Tigers' fastbreak but fails -- which leads to Yi Jianlian dunk, extending the lead to 13. Yi has 28 points and 15 rebounds on the night.

Shandong claw back in the third, as Ding Yanyuhang nails this fade away, and cuts the deficit to 9.

But Guangdong would regain their double-digit lead. Sloan dials long distance, much to the delight of coach Du Feng.

The American delivers again, and the Southern Tigers take a 17-point lead.

Shandong fight to try and trim the margin in the final Q, but Ding's pass is stolen by Yang Jinmeng, who sprints for the lay-up. 104-94 is the final as Guangdong grab their sixth straight win.

In other results, Shanxi thrashed Fujian by 20. Shenzhen edged Bayi. Guangzhou beat Tianjin. Jiangsu defeated Beijing to grab their second straight win. Chang Lin had 23 points in the victory for the Dragons.

Elsewhere, Jilin beat Qingdao. Beikong outclassed Tongxi. Guangsha dumped the Golden Bulls in an all-Zhejiang showdown. Shanghai beat defending champs Sichuan to keep their perfect record at home intact. Jimmer Fredette had 39 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists for Sharks in the win.
