In an exclusive interview with CCTV, one of the candidates from the presidential election shares his thoughts about this election result. 

"I have a very good feeling about the whole electoral processes, and the result I believe very accurate, they are free and transparent election we have conducted. And I think I also want to congratulate the independent electoral commission for its well done. This is what we are expecting from the independent electoral commission to conduct free and fair election."

"And I really feel very happy today, very comfortable the outcome of the result. Today Gambians have excersize their right, which is respected. Today Gambians are free, different from what is used to be in the last 22 years," he said.
