At the start of the year, it was thought that Klay Thompson would have to take a back-seat as the Dubs tried to incorporate Kevin Durant into the offense.

Since G-State already had two-time MVP already in the fold, there would not be enough balls to go around -- and thus the shooting guard's stats would suffer.

Well that was not the case on this night as he went off -- and I mean went off in a game against the Indiana Pacers.

Klay would be in a zone all-night, as he cuts to the lane and scoops this in to give the Dubs a 6 point edge.

Thompson then cans a triple late in the first-half -- and the bench goes wild. Remember two years ago, he set a record for most points in a quarter with 37.

He would dial long-distance again -- he finished with 40 at recess. as Golden State is cruising. He went 8-of-14 from behind the arc on the night.

Surprisingly not everything went his way -- as he misses this free-throw, but G-State gets the rebound, and Klay does his thing again -- as he is on his way to a career night.

Late in the third and the hosts are up 35 -- but all they care about is getting the ball to Thompson -- who runs off a screen and cans another trey. He finishes with 60 points. I repeat 60 points -- a career high

He did that work in just three quarters -- and gets a massive ovation from the crowd and love from his teammates. He is the fourth warrior to score that many points in a single game.

In other scores -- Denver topped Philly. LeBron James scored 38 points as Cleveland beat Toronto in a first-place showdown in the East. James Harden went for 37 as Houston edged Boston.

San Antonio rallied from 15 points to slip past Milwaukee. Marc Gasol had a triple-double, 28 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists in Memphis' double OT win over New Orleans. Russell Westbrook had a big night for OKC in their win over Atlanta.
