South Korean Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn has held his first cabinet meeting as acting president. Addressing the public for the first time, Hwang promised to manage the country, assuring state affairs are in good hands.
"The suspension of the president from duty is a serious situation and I believe citizens feel uneasy. There may be many concerns at home and abroad about the domestic situation. I and rest of the cabinet will do our best to maintain stability in the functions of the state," he said.
