Sports Scene returns on the hardwood as Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were at home to the Charlotte Hornets. A fitting location for the four time NBA MVP to reach another career milestone as the King became the only player with 27,000 points, 7,000 assists, and 7,000 rebounds. Not bad for the 31-year-old who still has many good years ahead of him. And did I mention the Cavs are the denfending champs?

Lebron's latest acheivement comes midway through the opening quarter when he finds Tristan Thompson for a dunk. (replay) 7,000 assists and counting for the fantastic facilitator.

James would also find the basket a few times himself as he twist and turns before dropping a deuce to extend the Cavs lead to 19 points late in the first half.

But Charlotte, threaten to come back in the third quarter and when Kemba Walker scores on this jumper, the Hornets are only three points behind. Walker would have 24 in this game.

But the champs quickly right the ship as Kevin Love goes off the glass for two of his 22 this night and it's a five point game.

But Charlotte just keep coming though as Italian Marco Belinelli connects on this ridiculous fade away to reduce the deficit to four late in the third and the Hornets continue to buzz at the Quicken Loans Arena.

However Lebron would play exterminator by scoring 17 in the fourth quarter including this corner three that gives the Cavs a 14 point lead. And James finishes with a season-high 44 points on the night.

And that allows the King to indulge in some circus fun as he gets the underhand to go while being fouled and the Cavs win 116-105 for their fourth straight.

IN other action, the Chicago Bulls topped the Miami Heat by five. Golden State lost their fourth of the season going down 110-89 to Memphis who've won six straight. Houston routed Dallas, San Antonio scored a season high 130 on Brooklyn with 30 from Kawhi Leonard, the Jazz won by 20, and the Clippers dropped 133 on the Pelicans.
