The 27-year-old Chinese won the tournament last year with a record score of 21 under par and she would need another strong performance in windy conditions.

Trailing by 5 shots overnight, the Chinese able to sink six birdies in her first 10 holes capped off by a simple tap in following that chip onto the tenth green.

Feng still stays in good form and keeps her hopes alive of defending the title with a fantastic shot off the tee on the 11th before landing another birdie.

By the time of this putt on the 18th she has a two-shot lead and has effectively already wrapped up the contest.

The world number four finishes with a round 3 score of 64 which puts her at 10 under total overall to claims the trophy for the 4th in 5 years. The Chinese is also the first person to win the event in Dubai. This is also her seventh Ladies European Tour victory and her fourth title of the season.

"Well, I would say that all the victories are important but, of course, I am really happy that I can win again here and I really love this golf course. I love coming back to Dubai and I'm just so happy that I can win here again," Feng said.

Here's the final leaderboard with Feng at the top, one shot ahead of Charley Hull. Ashtok and Parker share third with South Africa's Ashleigh Smith and Georgia Hall of England in fifth.
