South Korea's prosecutors have announced the results of their investigation into a corruption scandal surrounding impeached President Park Geun-hye.

Winding up their months-long probe, prosecutors have indicted former senior presidential aide, Cho Won-dong, and former vice culture minister, Kim Chong.

The two men are among the high-level officials who allegedly helped President Park's long-time friend Choi Soon-sil use her influence in government affairs. President Park, meanwhile, is suspected of third-party bribery, abuse of power, and assisting Choi's interference in state affairs.
