In South Africa, the final of the World Rugby sevens stop held in Cape Town. The hosts were up against England. The English were looking to emulate the fine play of their 15-a-side team, which just completed a stellar year by going the entire campaign without a loss.
England beat Scotland to make the final, while South Africa topped New Zealand.
We pick it up in the first half with England ahead 7-5 and a skip pass finds Dan Norton who touches down his 225th try for his country, a national team record. 12-5 after the failed conversion.

Midway through the second half England go back in front as they swing it out wide to Rory McConnochie. The convert puts the northern hemisphere side ahead 19-12. Worries for the local fans
Late stages now -- the hosts are able to quickly get the ball out to the wing on the far side where Werner Kok manages to penetrate the defence and score to make it 19-17.
