More than 10,000 runners dressed as Santa Claus participated in an annual race in Issy-les-Moulineaux, near the French capital Paris, on Sunday.
The runners participated in the 10-kilometer race dressed in the traditional red-and-white costume of Father Christmas. Last year’s event was called off in light of the November 13 terrorist attacks in Paris.
This year’s winner, Philippe Raymond, has been participating in the race for 20 years and said it was all about solidarity and “sharing the experience.”
