Increases in home prices eased across major Chinese cities in November. Fresh data shows that average home prices in 100 Chinese cities stood at 12,938 yuan per square meter.

That was up 0.88 percent month on month from October. The slight rise indicates that momentum for price increases has remained mild over the past three months.

Major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen and second-tier cities like Nanjing and Chengdu all registered slower growth in home prices compared to October.

Experts say real estate curbing policies have started to take effect, and that housing agencies are showing a drop in transaction volume and buyer interest.
