A busy schedule for the Charlotte Hornets continued when they travelled to face the Indiana Pacers for their third game in four days. The visitors leaders had beaten their opponents in their last four meetings, but with Paul George and Myles Turner both in form, the Pacers would snap that streak.

Turner gets going early as he drains the wide open three to give Indiana an eight point lead and they would be up 25-20 after the first quarter.

But the Hornets buzz back in the second. Kemba Walker drives in and goes off the glass while getting fouled and the three point play reduces Charlotte's deficit to two points.

The Hornets are now up early in the third but a deep trey from Jeff Teague puts the Pacers back in front by one.

In a closely fought contest the Hornets restore their slender one point advantage thanks to a corner three from Frenchman Nicolas Batum.

But the Pacers take control in the fourth quarter and are up by five when George gets open for a jumper on his way to finishing with 22 points this night.

And the final nail in Charlotte's coffin comes from Turner who steps back and beats the shot clock with a triple. He would also have 22 as Indiana go on to win 110-94.

Elsewhere 36 points from James Harden helped the Houston Rockets overcome the Brooklyn Nets 122 to 118. DeMar Rozan had 30 for Toronto over Milwaukee. Injury plagued Dallas blew out Denver by 20 points, while the L.A. Clippers squeaked past Portland. And DeMarcus Cousins had 31 points and 16 rebounds as the Kings hammered the Lakers 116-92.
