The Chinese foreign ministry says it is "seriously concerned" after Trump said his government may reconsider the decades-old agreement with Beijing. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi warns against moves to damage the "One China" principle. He urges the US to respect China's core interests.
"China is paying close attention to these developments," he said.
"I can clearly say that whether it's Tsai Ing-wen, any other person in the world, or any other force, if they try and damage the one China principle and harm China's core interests, in the end they are lifting a rock only to drop it on their feet."
