China's Foreign Ministry has urged the international community to come together and resume multi-lateral talks, in order to better combat terrorism and restore peace and stability in Syria.

"China attaches great importance to the situation in Syria, and suggests the international community stick to the political solution, which means solving problems through dialogues and consultations, and restarting the Geneva Peace Talks as soon as possible. China is willing to come together with the international community to seek an early resolution to the Syrian conflict," said Geng Shuang, spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry.
