Beijing to curb property prices in 2017

The city of Beijing will tighten supervision on property prices next year to calm real estate markets. That's according to a plenary session of Beijing's municipal government. The government said in an statement that house prices in Beijing are too high with accumulated risks. The statement said the high prices pose challenges to sustainable development.
