China's Foreign Ministry says Shinzo Abe's visit to Pearl Habor will not resolve all historical issues from the second world war.  

"A visit to Pearl Harbor cannot settle historical accounts. Don't forget that China was the main eastern battlefield in the global anti-fascist war, and the Chinese people made massive national sacrifice to achieve victory. Japan will never turn over this page until it reconciles with China and other Asian countries it invaded," said spokesperson Hua Chunying.
