Light pillars in the sky were seen over Xilin Gol in north China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The atmospheric optical phenomenon was seen for 2 hours from 7:30 pm on Monday. The extreme cold is what generated the pillars of light, causing the city to look magical.

Models blended into oil paintings. The special use of body paint made these models look as though they stepped straight out of the paintings at an exhibition held in Taiyuan, Shanxi province. What a creative selfie background!
