South Korea unveils one-year countdown clock

South Korea has held a countdown ceremony for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in Seoul, unveiling a digital clock tower to mark exactly 365 days until the international mega-sports event.

Its Olympic torch and torchbearer uniform were also revealed. The event's organizing chief said South Korea will do its best to support the Games, and rejected accusations that preparations are hindered by the country's ongoing political crisis. The Winter Games are scheduled for February 9th to 25th next year.
