A fresh survey shows that Chinese entrepreneurs have more confidence in the economy this year than they did in 2016. The survey released at the three-day Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum in Heilongjiang Province came in at 52.60. That was up more than zero-point-two points from 2016.

The survey also showed that the entrepreneurs are starting to become concerned with technology transitions and innovation under the pressure of  risks brought on by global uncertainties. The new focuses include cloud computing and big data, artificial intelligence, genome biology, entertainment, and health.

"The innovation driven by technology is the only way to develop, such as artificial intelligence. The era of mobile internet has gone and we have stepped into AI age. That makes us to relocate our products and reschedule our development strategy," Feng Lun, rotating president of China Entrepreneurs Forum, said.

"We have no experience right now but a few years later you could recognize a big change that communication between human and computers is through natural language instead of touch screen control," Li Yanhong, CEO of Baidu, said.

"2017 is a new age due to the development of new technology, including artificial, new energy and new materials," Zhong Yu, chairman of Kangde Group, said.
