Foreign Minister briefs media about China’s 2017 foreign policy priorities

Minister Wang Yi took more than 20 questions from journalists from around the world touching on hot issues like tension on the Korean Peninsula, China-US relations, the Trump administration, and China-Africa cooperation.

Wang also spoke about the upcoming Belt and Road forum to be held in Beijing in May, which will attract more than 20 heads of state and government as well as over 100 ministerial level officials.

He said the initiative has become the most popular public good and the best platform for international cooperation with the brightest prospects in the world.
