Education minister briefs media on reforms, improving quality

Education Minister Chen Baosheng has briefed the media on China's educational infrastructure reforms, and the actions to improve education quality. Chen said China will continue the support for rural teachers, and offer more training opportunities for principals in rural schools.  For poverty relief through education, Chen announced more investment to improve infrastructure construction.  As for the increasing number of Chinese students returning from overseas, the country is to provide more favorable conditions.

"We will surely work to provide more comprehensive and convenient conditions for returning students. This is our duty. As long as we do the job well, the returning wave of Chinese overseas students will be higher," Chen said.
