US President Donald Trump has accused China anew of doing little to help in easing tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
Trump says the DPRK has been playing with the US for many years. He said this in a post on Twitter on Friday, after US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson refused to rule out the use of military force against Pyongyang.
China has hit back, saying differences between the DPRK and the US are what cause tensions in the region. The Chinese foreign ministry says the country has been trying to get Washington and Pyongyang to negotiate.
China's latest proposal involves the simultaneous suspension of the DPRK's nuclear program and military drills by South Korea and the US.
