Participants of the Boao Forum for Asia have issued a declaration on economic globalization.  They believe governments should widely share the benefits of economic globalization, reject trade protectionism, and explore more forms of cross-border public-private partnerships.

They also call for the WTO and APEC to work together to ensure that more Free Trade Agreements or Regional Trade Agreements are functional. Institutions like the IMF and World Bank should strengthen global finance supervision and support cross-border capital flows.

Multilateral mechanisms such as the G20 and APEC should promote infrastructure and people-to-people connectivity.
