China, Vietnam vow to strengthen bilateral cooperation

Wang Yi said the relations between the 2 nations have achieved great progress. This year, China and Vietnam are set to host a series of high-level exchanges, with the two foreign ministries expected to work closely on preparations. The Chinese foreign minister also called for both countries to push forward strategic cooperation, such as the Belt and Road Initiative, and the Two Corridors and One Circle Strategy, while also managing differences and promoting maritime cooperation.

Pham said that Vietnam is willing to work with China to ensure successful visits for both parties and leaders this year. At the same time, Pham also expressed hope that both countries will enhance pragmatic cooperation in various fields, as well as maintain maritime peace and stability.
