The Marvel's superhero sequel has earned an impressive 246.2 million U.S. dollars in North America through Sunday. It posted another strong global weekend of 115.2 million U.S. dollars, taking its global cume to date to 630.6 million U.S. dollars, according to studio figures collected by comScore.

Just in time for Mother's Day, Fox's R-rated comedy "Snatched" starring Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn, opened in second place with an estimated 17.5 million U.S. dollars. The mother-daughter buddy comedy film tells the story of a young woman and her ultra-cautious mother worked through their differences to escape from a wildly outrageous and dangerous jungle adventure.

Warner Bros.' "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" opened in third place. It made only an estimated 14.7 million U.S. dollars in North America -- a disastrous debut weekend considering its 175-million U.S. dollars production budget. The film has a better performance in international box office, generating an estimated 29.1 million U.S. dollars this weekend from 51 markets in release for 43.8 million U.S. dollars globally.

Universal's "The Fate of the Furious" moved to fourth place with an estimated 5.3 million U.S. dollars in North America in its fifth weekend.

DreamWorks Animation and Fox's "The Boss Baby" finished fifth with an estimated 4.6 million U.S. dollars in North America million in its seventh weekend.
