At the opening of the Fourth World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province, President Xi Jinping delivered a warm congratulatory letter with the hope that the conference would deepen exchanges and cooperation of the internet and digital economy, promoting all countries around the world to ride the fast train of the internet and digital economy for development fruits that benefit people worldwide. President Xi's congratulatory letter fully embodies his profound insights into the global Internet development trends and sends a sincere invitation to all countries to jointly develop the internet and digital economy.

Nowadays, the cyberspace based on the Internet has become a new channel for information dissemination, a new space for production and living, a new engine for economic development, a new carrier for cultural prosperity, and a new platform for social governance.

Xi's commitment guides the process of building a cyberspace community of common destiny under the principle of mutually promoting development, jointly safeguarding security, jointly participating in governance, and sharing the benefits. It shows Beijing's firm determination to make greater contributions to the security, development and governance of the global cyberspace, charting the direction for building a safe, secure and prosperous cyberspace.
