Horsetail embroidery is a traditional handicraft by the Shui women in Sandu Shui Autonomous County, Guizhou Province. It uses horsetail hair and silk thread as materials and has been passed on by Shui women for generations – why the traditional handicraft is also called a "living fossil" in Chinese embroidery.
