Researchers in northwest China's Qinghai Province have displayed for the first time video footage of a snow leopard in the Amne Machin Mountain eating a yak.
Recorded by infrared cameras, the footage shows a snow leopard tearing the corpse of the yak and eating it.
The snow leopard ate the entire yak with 20 sittings in four days.
Apart from the snow leopard, other animals like red-billed choughs, red foxes and weasels also arrived to eat the yak.
