As a major energy consumer, Japan relies on energy imports, especially after the Fukushima nuclear disaster. With a good business model and win-win cooperation, the Chinese State Power Investment is gaining ground in Japan's power industry.

A Chinese company, State Power Investment, has captured a stable market in Japan's power industry with its high barriers.
Ibaraki, about 60 kilometers away from Tokyo, is an agricultural county, where much farmland was abandoned due to its aging population.
In 2014, the company proposed building a solar power station on an abandoned field.
The regional economy has surged by laying claim to having Japan's largest solar power station.
By 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, the company expects to build Japan's most large-scale photovoltaic power station in Fukushima.
