- 2,008 children have been rescued as of October 12, in over 1,700 trafficking cases.
- Some rescued children still could not find their parents.
- To promote the searching work, the ministry set up the webpage on its website www.mps.gov.cn.
- Parents should apply to have a blood sample collected in local public security bureaus. If the DNA test results match, they will be notified soon.
- It is estimated that there are 30,000 to 60,000 children abducted every year.
