"> How did you become the host for Rediscovering China?     I arrived in Beijing in September 2003 eagerly looking for work in the media as that was the background I had just come from. And after only 3 months of looking here and there I found an advert posted on the internet for CCTV-9... How do you feel working for Rediscovering China？     Working for this programme is almost a dream come true in the respect that I get to travel to all different places around China…for free! Ha ha! Of course I love the element of meeting new people and... What is your favourite city so far？     Well as you already know, I’ve covered quite a large amount of Chinese territory so far, but have yet to discover the far west…maybe one day!!! But from where I’ve been and from what I’ve seen to date, I have several favourite places... Changes since I’ve been here…     I first came to China in 1998 as a student and my first impression was NOT how I had imagined it to be! I guess it was because I had always watched movies set in Hong Kong that I thought China too would be covered from head to toe in neon lights!
