Li Changchun meets S. Korean ruling party delegation in China

Li Changchun, a senior CPC official, has met with a South Korean delegation representing the ruling Grand National Party, led by its Secretary-General Jang Kwang-keun. Li Changchun said China and South Korea have been friends throughout history as a result of geographical proximity.

He said that China highly values its ties with South Korea, and is willing to join efforts with Seoul to strengthen strategic exchanges, deepen win-win cooperation, maintain regional peace and stability, and promote a comprehensive high-level cooperative partnership in various fields. Lee also said he looks forward to long-term cooperation between the two ruling parties.

Speaking on behalf of South Korea's Grand National Party, Jang Kwang-keun expressed his admiration for the Communist Party of China for its ability to rule. He said he hopes to strengthen practical cooperation between the two parties, and contribute to bettering Sino-South Korean relations.
