Singapore's GDP growth seen at 3 pct in 2010

The former Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, says the country's economy may grow by 3 percent next year.

Lee Kuan Yew, who now serves as the Minister Mentor, added that this year's fourth quarter looks healthy, after the economy bounced back earlier this year. This story comes courtesy of Channel News Asia.

Mr. Lee adds that by the next general election due by February 2012, Singapore will see a nucleus of new generation of leaders, who are able, determined and committed. In that way, Singapore will be healthy, strong and at peace.
