Beijing Olympics partner, Air China, today unveiled its first aircraft to carry the Olympic logo.
There was a lot of sparkle at the launching ceremony in Beijing on Wednesday. From behind a huge white curtain, a Boeing 737-777 airplane with the red characters of "Beijing 2008" on its fuselage made its debut. The Beijing Olympic slogan, "One World, One Dream", was also painted on the nose of the aircraft. Air China became a partner of the Beijing Olympiad last August. The carrier, one of China's biggest, currently provides services in 65 domestic cities. It also flies to 35 cities in 22 countries and regions around the world. The carrier said its second aircraft sporting Olympic livery will be ready at the end of the month.
